Abstract

LPP arises from skin rubbing against bones, compromising blood circulation. This study reports the nursing management of a patient with a calcaneal injury, using the Nursing Care Systematization (SAE) and the NANDA, NIC and NOC (NNN) classifications. This is an experience report during a supervised nursing internship, at a higher education institution in the interior of Ceará. Visits were made to the patient over a period of 21 days, in which 7 approaches were carried out, with 2 days dedicated to data collection and 5 to providing care to the patient. The application of the NNN classifications made it possible to identify the main nursing diagnoses, such as Pressure Injury, Impaired Walking Ability, allowing the implementation of targeted and individualized interventions. It is concluded that SAE was essential to guarantee humanized care, based on evidence, promoting the patient's recovery and quality of life.
